  • General sales will begin on Tickets go on sale in July. Ticket purchasing will be available on the website.

    *A small transaction fee is added at checkout. This fee covers credit card processing and ticketing platform costs. Your full ticket amount goes directly toward making the event happen. Thank you for your support and understanding!
    **All attendees, including children of age 12 or older, require an admission ticket. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. Children age 11 or under do not need a ticket. Free admission for up to two children 11 years old or younger per admission ticket.

    ***Online sales will end once a certain ticket capacity is reached. We plan to sell same-day ticket sales at the venue in the afternoon of October 17 and 18. Cash or card payment is accepted. Please be aware that if the venue is at capacity, you consent to wait in line.

  • No. Refunds and date changes are not possible after purchasing admission tickets. All sales are final.

  • Tickets are non-transferable. Admission is restricted to the original purchaser. Any resale for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

    i.e. If you purchased 4 tickets for a group consisting of yourself and friends/family, that is okay and allowed! But if you purchased 4 tickets and need to give it all away or sell to someone else, that is not permitted.

  • Admission tickets cannot be reissued under any circumstances, even if you forget or lose them, so please take good care of them.

    If you forget or lose your admission ticket, you cannot enter the venue.

  • Damaged or lost wristbands cannot be replaced. Entry will not be permitted without a valid wristband, so please keep it on and in good condition until the event ends. Wristbands are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser.

    Resale for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized entry will result in removal from the venue, regardless of the circumstances. Please be aware that legal action may be pursued in certain cases.

  • You will be admitted in the order in which you line up in the admission waiting line. Check-in will be at the entrance, which is the start of the waiting line.

  • Re-entry is permitted. By showing the wristband to a staff member, you will be able to enter and leave the venue freely until closing time.

    *Please note that there are no designated eating and drinking spaces or rest areas within the marketplace.

  • Yes! The Westin LAX is accessible via Metro Rail and bus lines.

    All Metro Rail lines are accessible to wheelchair users, with every station offering either a walkway/ramp or elevator. Metro Bus also accommodates various wheelchair types.

  • Mobility aids such as wheelchairs and scooters for those with disabilities are permitted within the venue. Elevators are also accessible in the venue.

    Strollers for children are not permitted in the marketplace.

  • Service animals are permitted. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.

  • No. Wheeled carts and luggage are not permitted inside the marketplace.

    Mobility aids are allowed for those with disabilities.

    *To prevent accidents, storing suitcases and carrying suitcases will not be permitted inside the marketplace.

  • Yes.

  • Plastic or reusable water bottles are allowed to be brought in. If you have a bottled drink, coffee or tea drink, that is okay too. Please be mindful with vendors and respect paper products on display. (i.e. condensation dripping from an iced drink)

    No food allowed. Please note that there is no eating space inside the marketplace.

    The entire building is non-smoking.

    Any attendee deemed by staff or volunteers to be acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise inappropriate manner will be subject to immediate removal from the venue.

  • Taking photos and videos is permitted, but please be considerate of people around you.

    We fully acknowledge the desire to film the venue, however we ask for you to receive consent from vendors if you’re allowed to film staff or products for sale.

    Any attendee deemed by staff or volunteers to be acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise inappropriate manner will be subject to immediate removal from the venue.

    Please refrain from occupying the space in front of booths or other actions that may cause inconvenience to other customers.

  • While masks are not required, attendees and vendors are welcome to wear one if they choose.

  • Payments will be made with each vendor.

    Vendors will either take cash, card, or PayPal. Please check vendor information to know what payment is accepted for each vendor.

  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges after purchase. All sales are final.

  • We have asked vendors to have products available for each day, but they may be sold out depending on when you try to purchase them.

  • Some vendors may post their catalog on social media in anticipation for Bungu LA.

General FAQ

  • Bungu LA is a curated marketplace with handpicked vendors by us at Paper Plant Co, at this time we are not accepting vendor applications.

    But in the future we’re looking to have smaller scale events for local artists/makers and will post for open applications in the future for those!

  • Volunteer applications are not open now, but will be in the future.. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

    This event would not be possible without the support of dedicated volunteers. We are seeking greeters, audio visual aides, vendor assistants, Japanese language interpreters, and setup/teardown crews. If you have mentioned skills, we’d be glad to hear from you.

  • Like most months out of the year in Los Angleles, sunny and blue skies! Warm days with cooler evenings. Since it’s near the end of summer time, there is a chance of a mini heatwave. We’ll keep everyone posted on the weather as the days get closer!

  • Many areas in LA are safe, especially during the day. As with any city, it’s good to stay aware of your surroundings and do a bit of research on the specific neighborhood.

  • The organizers and venue disclaim all liability for any accidents, incidents, theft, loss, or injuries occurring within the venue. Attendees assume full responsibility for their personal safety and belongings while on the premises.

  • If we decide that we have to cancel the event due to a natural disaster or state of emergency in Southern California, we will announce this directly via email for ticket holders, on our official website, and official social media accounts by 6:00 p.m. PST on the day before the event.
