Tokubetsumemori

Tokubetsumemori, meaning “special memory” in Japanese, is a Taiwanese stationery shop founded in 2020 by Judy, a Taiwanese-American based in Taiwan. Inspired by Taiwan’s unique stationery culture and creativity, the shop offers a curated selection of washi tapes, PET tapes, stickers, postcards, and more from Taiwanese artists. Tokubetsumemori hopes to share a piece of Taiwan’s creativity and charm with stationery lovers worldwide.

 What inspired you to create your brand and products?
My brand was inspired by my move to Taiwan back in 2012 and discovering its vibrant, wide range of stationery culture, which was totally different from US. As someone who has loved stationery my entire life, I wanted to create a space that shares the creativity of Taiwanese artists with the rest of the world.

Tokubetsumemori means "Special Memory," and that's exactly what I hope my products become—a small part of someone's everyday joy and creativity from Taiwan.
