弊社は1926年、和紙の産地として名高い愛媛県四国中央市にて創業いたしました。 着物を包むための和紙の製造から始まり、以来さまざまな和紙製品づくりに 携わってまいりました。 長年にわたり和紙と向き合うなかで、伝統素材である和紙の魅力をもっと身近な形で 多くの方に届けたいという想いが生まれました。 そこで、これまで培ってきた和紙製品製造の技術を活かし、 2017年に和紙を使用したマスキングテープの製造を開始しました。 SAIENのマスキングテープは、和紙ならではの温かみを感じられる やわらかな手触りが特長です。 日常の暮らしや創作の時間に彩りを添え、 使うたびに和紙の魅力を感じていただける商品づくりを目指しています。 これからも、長年培ってきた技術と経験を大切にしながら、 新しい価値を創造し、多くの方に和紙の魅力を届けてまいります。

Founded in 1926 in Shikokuchuo City, Ehime Prefecture—one of Japan’s most renowned washi-producing regions—our company began by manufacturing traditional Japanese paper used to wrap kimonos. Since then, we have been involved in creating a wide variety of washi paper products. Through decades of working with washi, we developed a desire to share the beauty and unique qualities of this traditional material with more people in their everyday lives. With that vision in mind, we began producing washi masking tape in 2017, drawing on the skills and experience we have cultivated through years of manufacturing washi products. SAIEN masking tape is characterized by its soft texture and the natural warmth that only washi can provide. We strive to create products that add color and creativity to everyday life while allowing people to experience the charm of washi each time they use them. Moving forward, we will continue to value the skills and experience we have built over the years, creating new value while sharing the beauty of washi with people around the world.
