DAIGO / isshoni.

DAIGO has been making notebooks and paper goods in Japan since 1944 — eighty years of figuring out, page by page, how to make writing feel effortless. Our isshoni. line came from a simple idea: stationery should disappear into the moment, not get in the way of it. We obsess over things most people never notice — paper that won't bleed through, binding that lies flat at 180°, pages that stay clean no matter how many times you flip back through them. The inspiration isn't one big "aha" moment — it's thousands of small ones, tested by hand in our factory in Nara, refined until the notebook just works. We wanted to bring that same quiet, considered craftsmanship to writers here in the US.
